Funerals

The process of organising a funeral service can be overwhelming but as a professionally trained and accredited Funeral Celebrant with an NOCN Level 3 Diploma, Lara is able to guide you every step of the way. Lara is able to create and deliver an appropriate and unique funeral ceremony with sensitivity and empathy.

Not everyone wants the same type of funeral service, and Lara will meet with you to discuss the ceremony of your loved one in detail.  This could include songs, poetry, Bible readings and a specially written tribute/eulogy.  The ceremony will capture the very essence of the person and tell the story of the life that has been lived.

Whether the venue is a church, crematorium, graveside or other, you can have full confidence in Lara to deliver the following:

- Traditional and contemporary ceremonies

- Scattering and interring of ashes ceremonies

- Memorial services

- Ceremony pre-planning

Choosing the right music can be a daunting and difficult process but Lara will provide guidance. If the venue is a church, you may like to have a mix of communal and reflective music.  If in a crematorium, you will usually be given a choice of 3 pieces of music; on entrance, on reflection and on exit. Most crematoria have extensive digital music libraries to select from.

Lara will work alongside your funeral director of choice or she is happy to make recommendations if in the Ilkley, Bradford, Keighley, Skipton area.
